Introduction	Hi, I'm Alice. I have unsurprisingly managed to get myself into a pickle of a situation, as for some unbeknown reason I have volunteered to run the Stroud Half Marathon to raise money for Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust and Winston's Wish! Those that know me will understand how ridiculously hard it will be for me to run thirteen, yes THIRTEEN miles. I am not a runner, and I don't think I ever will be - I am however very stubborn, and so I have no option but to surprise everyone (including myself) and run this darned thing! This blog will be a place for me to ramble on about my lack of training, how my trainers make my toe bleed, how I can't run and drink from a bottle at the same time, what I should be listening to whilst I'm running, how I do my hair to stop it from flapping all over the place, if I'm that much closer to running 13 miles, and most importantly what outfit I need to wear on race day. So, sit yourself down, have a read and count yourself lucky that you're not the one running thirteen miles!
