| Introduction | I met Pastor Cyrus while helping my friend Robert Vallardi with his ministry called BIBLESENDERS. God put it on my heart to continue communicating with Pastor Cyrus and that led to a trip to visit him in Kenya. It was absolutely the most amazing trip I have ever been on. I was so Blessed by the people of Kisii. It was my desire to come along side Pastor Cyrus to encourage him in his ministry and to introduce him to the Calvary Chapel style of Verse by Verse teaching through the Bible. Pastor Cyrus and His Associate Pastor Peter have seen the tremendous need for this style teaching in an area (Kisii) that has been led mainly by Seventh Day Adventist and Morman teachings. Both Pastor Cyrus and Pastor Peter, realizing the truth, have come out of those teachings at the risk of being ex-communicated from thier families and friends. Through much, much prayer and hardship most of thier families and friends have turned away from the misleading teachings and have become followers of Jesus Christ through the example and teaching of Pastor Cyrus and Pastor Peter. They are to be commended for thier longsuffering and steadfastness in standing up for thier Savior Jesus Christ. |
