| Introduction | LLL meetings are a great place to meet other breastfeeding mothers. Meetings also provide an opportunity to speak to one of our breastfeeding counsellors, called "Leaders," about your challenges and concerns. Our meetings are non-judgemental, open to women at any stage of breastfeeding including pregnant mothers as well as babies and toddlers, and are confidential. If you need breastfeeding support or information urgently please call the La Leche League National Helpline on 0345 120 2918. Our trained counsellors are volunteers at home with their families so please try to keep calls to daytimes except for emergencies. While local leaders are away please ring our hepline 0345 120 2918 and you will get through to another volunteer or if it is a busy time you can leave a message and we will get back to you. We take calls in our home fitted round looking after our families soyou may hear the sounds of family life in the background when you call |
