| Introduction | As my children become older, I need to guide them with Christian formation for developing their character and spiritual life. The internet presents much materials. However, many offer outlooks that differ from Christian tradition. I cannot give them to my children for it can confuse them. We, parents must be sensitive to subtle ideas, like those against the practice of Christian virtue and good works and mere faith based on feelings. I write about Meditation Prayer for the children to know Christ’s teachings. It gives them Christian outlook to receive faith that leads to working hard through honest, noble professional work or business. It is performing duty and commitment in family and business relationships, that through it we might become saints. Humans are imperfect but can become perfect thru grace. Holiness means sanctity, excellence, and true happiness (beatus) They can learn and pursue Meditation Prayer, or “quiet time.” It’s not mere self-improvement but for personal holiness that they do it, if they see it benefits them, in their personal relationships in life and in work, doing it for the Love of God and His glory. |
