| Introduction | I am a lifelong artist. Although I do not like to devote myself to only one medium, my primary focus has been in painting and drawing. Currently, I am interested in combining screen-printing and painting in order for my work to advance conceptually and skillfully. I approach my work with the certainty that I will create, but what I don’t always know. It is this intuitional style that allows me to express my concepts through an ongoing investigation of images, shapes, and color. My content is abstract with figurative elements, and usually deals with the ambiguity of identity and reality, as well as the hyper real. I place my subjects in worlds of color that imitate their reality, yet suggest an alternate existence. It is an ongoing exploration of my interests in the interconnectivity of art, culture and community. |
