Introduction	I am a 29 year old pre-med student in California. I spent quite a bit of time in both Europe and South America and so I am no stranger to the differences that are found in countries other than my own. I was born in the US through no fault of my own. I am not anti-American, rather I feel that it is my obligation as one who happened to have been born here to use my own rights as a citizen of my country to protest what I believe to be wrong here. All nations have problems and that is not so much the issue as it is that WE THE PEOPLE need to care for our country enough to vote and protest conscientiously when feel that something is wrong.
