| Introduction | I use to be a para-professional in the public school system teaching children to read. I now volunteer in that venue, and give workshops at home-school conventions. I have been involved in other educational projects, but work more as a facilitator than in the traditional sense of teaching.. Inspired by the book, "The Faith Club", I believe that for too long many subjects have been taboo to discuss creating much polarity. Yes, even religion divides us.. When we talk only to those who agree with us we only support our own biases, which causes false ideas to appear real. "Not one of is as smart as all of us." For us to turn around conditions in this world, we need to unite. "United we stand, divided we fall." The only way to do that is to come together with respect for our diversity because no one is 100% right, and no one is 100% wrong. It is through communication that we begin to see the bigger picture.
