| Introduction | Call me Dee, I am a visual artist specialising in mixed medium and printmaking. I started this blog page on a residency on Sth East Coast Sept.2009. God blessed me with a paintbrush, I cant cook, sew or have a knack for the finer things women can usually do.I feel the buyer of my art should have something special so my artworks are all origonal and no print runs. I enjoy being in Gaara Arts, women artists of Broken Hill.We have had two successful group exhibitions this year and are preparing for another early next year. In April this year I succesfully launched a book in conjunction with my exhibition Paparazzi In Print. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, talking to the people, the research, the creative experience in producing the artworks. Life is short and I am now moving on to the water for a seachange. I live between my desert home and seaside cottage in S.A.Enjoying both dust & water. My next project is the 150 yrs of copper history for the seaside town of Moonta. | Interests | Of Course .. Art, But also history. I enjoy exploring new art techniques and working in mixed medium recently combining mixed medium and printmaking. |
| Favorite Movies | Have not got any favourite movies but I do love fishing, when they bite of course. |
| Favorite Music | Wendy Mathews, Bette Midler and anything country. Even a bit of jazz gets me jigging. |
| Favorite Books | Patricia Cornwall & Wilbur Smith for novels, But old books and all arts books, just love the feel of the pages. |
