| Introduction | I graduated with my Bachelor's from USU in 2000 with a dual degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I taught Preschool in my home and then started teaching at Head Start. I then got a job teaching Kindergarten when I decided that my love was with Preschool. I opened up my own preschool again, waiting for my own kids to come. Took a few years off for my babies and started teaching again in my home this past school year. I also am a Parents As Teachers educator where I go into the homes of families with children ages 0-5 and give info to parents about their child and the developments taking place. I bring in a box to fit that age and development and show the parents how to do the activity and then facilitate their visit. I love teaching this way. Mostly, and most importantly, I have a 4 year old, a two year old, and an 8 month old that have taught me more in the past 4 years than any class I have ever taken or ever taught. I love being a mommy and I love them being my kids. |
