I am a Generally content and happy person. My greatest joy comes from my family, but also some of my biggest stress. But hey with 1 Husband, 5 kids, 2 kids in law and 5 little Granddaughters what would you expect!
Interests My interests include reading, sewing, trying to sell what I sew, spending time with my family and now writing my blog

Favorite Music I love all kinds of music. Some of my favorite songs at the moment are Just like Heaven-The Cure, Hold on tight to your dreams - ELO, Layla and Badge - Eric Clapton [ Well Badge is actually by Cream but same difference], Jeepster- T-Rex, My Sweet Lord George Harrison, Grace Kelly - Mica, All of the Album Dark Side Of The Moon - Pink Floyd [see my title quote], Good enough - Sarah Mclachlan, Come into my kitchen - Steve Miller [I actually love the entire album The Joker that this song is on], I even like quite a lot of Country, Especially Toby Keith
Favorite Books Oh where to start, The Dune books I've read I think the first five maybe six, Lord of the Rings, Of course all things Harry Potter, Roots and Queen by Alex Haley, All of Anne Rice's Vampire books starting with Interview, Mystic River by Dennis LeHane, The Memory Keeper's Daughter, tons and tons of Stephen King although some of his stuff irritates me when he kills EVERYONE off in a book, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Wizard of Oz books, and I have just recently (quite by accident actually) discovered the "Stravaganza" books by Mary Hoffman I have so far read the first one, "City Of Masks" and I highly recommend it. Wow I could go on & on I LOVE to read.

Why is it that our culture worships actors and musicians but the HighSchool kids in Band, Orchestra and especially Drama Club, are always considered Geeks?
