Describe the sound of a moist waffle falling onto a hot griddle.
Why is the waffle moist before it falls onto the griddle? In fact, why is it a waffle at all? Wouldn't it still be batter? Unless it's mid-flip I guess. Then one side could be cooked and one side could be moist.
