| Introduction | Hello, my name is Lauren Whitehill and I am currently a student-athlete here at the University of Akron. I am studying to become a speech-language pathologist. When I graduate from Masters School I plan on working with adults who have speech problems due to brain injury, aphasia and dementia along with other causes of speech difficulties. I decided to become involved with the local women’s group Zonta because it involves three local communities, Akron, Barberton and Cuyahoga Falls. Being from Summit County I was very interested in an organization which involves these areas. I created this blog to help you and me to become aware of the good things our local chapter of Zonta is doing for our community! |
