Introduction Pitch Twit is the sucker-punch pseudonym on Yorkshire music producer Tom Sidebottom. Pitch Twit’s signature has to be his twisting electro bass lines, which rise and fall as synthesised organised madness. Although coming from a classical music background, the synthesized bleeps and wobbles squeezing out of the speakers during ‘3 Bar Fire’ releases - ‘Sidewards’ and ‘Pieces Of 4’ (2009) - show Pitch Twit’s knack for electronic dance music - twisting sounds and melody to accentuate his percussive thumps. Pitch Twit’s EP release with 3 Bar Fire Times turned quite a few heads, receiving radio play from Huw Stephens and earning reviews and comments from The Times who dubbed it "Memorably mad electro”, Track it Down who considered the two tracks to be “future anthems” and Daily Music Guide who found it “strangely alluring and addictive”.
