About me

Introduction My passion is to impact the health of families, one individual at a time. I am committed to sharing simple, proven and sustainable health tips which have a positive effect on long-term good health. I believe that nutrition is the most under utilized aspect of modern medicine. Therefore, many of my posts have to do with healthy eating and proper supplementation. I spent many years as a health care provider in a hospital and physician's office, and I saw, first hand, what life looks like when you lose your health. I also spent years, beginning in my teens, in a pattern of over eating and embarrassing weight gain, with no ability to permanently disrupt this unhealthy cycle. Those experiences motivated me to study nutrition and prevention, including earning a certificate of training from Sanoviv Medical Institue as a Sanoviv Nutrition and Health Advisor. I am certified in Metabolic Typing by Personalized Metabolic Nutrition. I am also a 200RYT Yoga instructor, and I am excited to teach SUP (Stand Up Paddleboard) and studio yoga!
