| Introduction | Allison Firestone is a writer, a coffee junkie, a grammar lover, and a magazine addict. She’s determined to visit as many countries as she can and believes anything can be fixed with a good baking session and a long run. After studying American and French literature and politics at UC San Diego, she moved to Hollywood where she worked as the assistant editor at an online magazine for women. Dreaming of running her own web destination for teenage girls led her to pursue a master’s degree at Berkeley’s School of Journalism. She enjoys reading, crocheting, eating out, hiking, running in the Berkeley hills, dogs, Cal football games, and the occasional reality TV marathon. She spends her days in class, writing articles for a local magazine, and, mostly, developing Teen She Spot (of course). |
