Introduction Johanna Bohoy paints to complete her life of art. Upon graduation from Rochester Institute of Technology, she was chosen a "Mademoiselle Magazine" Guest Editor, then went on to work as a professional designer/illustrator. Her paintings have been exhibited at Boston City Hall, Clark Art Institute, Phillips Andover, and various galleries and are in collections across the US, Europe and Malaysia. She lives in an 1860s gatekeeper's cottage in an ocean town with her husband, dog Beau, and cat Tara. She has authored and illustrated a children’s book and has been invited to lecture at the Smithsonian and other organizations, judged numerous design shows, and been the featured designer in the professional ‘design bibles’– CA/Communication Arts and Print Magazine. Her award-winning work is in the permanent collection of the Cooper Hewitt Design Museum, NYC and the Amity Arts Foundation. Her AWARDS include: Boston Art Director’s Club, New York ‘One Show’,Hatch Awards, Graphis International, New York Type Director’s Club, Print Design Annuals, Society of Illustrators, Paper company awards, NE Museum Publication Award, MA Library Assoc PR Award
