Introduction | Husband to Dawn Marie (Kozlowski) and father to Benjamin Reid and Jared Scott Kline. I call many places home: Chicago, central Florida, central Utah, and currently: Savannah, GA. I am the oldest of 8 children. My parents--Jim and Vickie--are still raising the two youngest: Rachel & Rusty. All my other siblings are married and have children of their own. I served a two-year enlistment in the active Army as a tanker in Friedberg, Germany from 88-90. Served a mission for the LDS Church in the Philippines from 90-92. Studied English, religion, & philosophy at Florida Southern College and went on to get the Masters of Divinity from the University of Chicago. While in Chicago, my wife and I served as the Residental Managers of the Ronald McDonald House near the University of Chicago Children's Hospital. I had a consulting business working with non-profits and most of the religious communities of metropolitan Chicago: primarily the National Conference for Community and Justice and the Council of Religious Leaders of Metropolitan Chicago. |
Interests | My wife and I will celebrate our 12th anniversary this summer. We are more complementary to one another than similar. She loves to cook, enjoys walks outdoors, a good book, and she finds peace in a clean house and being debt free (both are ideals, of course). Benjamin, now 9, is very imaginative and passionate in just about everything he does. He loves broccoli, chips and salsa, funky sour candy, and anything on which he can put ketchup or dip (what he calls ranch dressing). Jared is newly two, and growing up while I am away. He regularly repeats, "Daddy's in Iraq!" |
