| Introduction | Albert Einstein once said, “Out of clutter, find Simplicity. From discord, find Harmony. In the middle of the difficulty lies Opportunity.” This is basically my relationship with the political issues in US government. I believe that I am generally Democratic in nature but I find government issues somewhat difficult to follow on a daily basis. I am hoping by the end of this course to not only have the credits that I need towards my degree but to also have a better understanding of where I am politically. To do this, I will follow Albert Einstein’s advice by doing my best to reduce mental clutter and discord by listening and keeping an open mind. Hopefully, by challenging my fear with the political obstacles ahead, I will be able to succeed in this class. After all, success leads to opportunity. |
