Introduction	I am Mommy to a BEAUtiful teenager and a baby girl whom I love more than anything in the whole world. I also have 4 step sons and a hard working husband. I am a controlled diabetic. Once upon a time.....there was ME, a Mom. Just an average, normal mom, who DESPERATELY wanted to be like her friend "that Mom". That Mom has it all together. Her kids are behaved, clean, have on matching real clothes (not pajamas) and polite. I discovered she was "that Mom" because our kids became friends and on the first play date I looked around at her house and suddenly it hit me. Her house is immaculate. Ugh. No crayon on the walls or clutter or dirty dishes. Nothing out of place. And then I remembered seeing her in the parent drop off line at school and everyday she's already showered, dressed (not in her pajamas), hair and make-up done before she takes her kids to school at 8:30 AM? Ugh again. I am not that mom. But I want to be. So this blog is my adventures in de-cluttering, cleaning, starting to lose some weight, hit the gym :0), save some money shopping with coupons, and being the best Mom I can be. All in the hopes of someday being, "that Mom".
