Introduction Here's a little snippet of our story. We'd love to hear yours too. We met in 2005, and instantly became the best of friends. Robert is originally from England and has a wicked sense of humor. That sense of humor continues to keep Kris laughing to this day. We dated for two years but more than that, we became best friends. It was then that we realized that we should get married, and we did, in a small family ceremony in Kris' parent's house. Soon after, we started to dream about having a child. We tried, but after about two years, we realized that the Universe kept pointed us toward adoption. And so we began our search. Our dream of a child includes lots of love, books, trips to the zoo, fun friends, evenings out for ice cream, walks, lying around playing with the dogs and simply just being together.
Interests Hi. We're Kris and Robert and would like to adopt a child. If you are considering an adoption plan for your child, we'd like to tell you how much we admire and respect your decision. We know this will be one of the most important decisions you'll ever make. To help you get to know us better, we've pulled together this blog with lots of pictures, and little tidbits about us. But please, feel free to contact us at or call us collect at (540) 300-0223 to find our more.
Favorite Movies Who doesn't love movies? We have plans to see the new Sherlock Holmes in December. We're so disappointed Harry Potter is over. It felt like we were losing our friends when the last movie was over. The Golden Compass is one of our favorites ... and then we love the A-Team, The Hangover and James Bond (the Daniel Craig version please).
Favorite Music Foo Fighters, Arcade Fire, Adele, Alicia Keys, System of a Down, Radiohead, Jay Z, Eddie Vedder, Echo and the Bunnymen (yes, we love the 80s), Katy Perry (Last Friday Night!), Linkin Park.
Favorite Books We read all the time. Kris reads mostly fiction and stories based on real occurences. Just recently she finished Cutting for Stone. Robert is more into history. He was reading a book on Thomas Jefferson. Heck, we read magazines, the newspapers and cereal boxes. Just put it in front of us and we'll read it. Kris used to love reading to her nieces and nephews. Reading is an escape, an education and something both of us love.
