| Introduction | I think I've been a book person forever. Found in my stuff during a cleaning expedition: certificates of completion from the Denver Public Library Vacation Reading Programs 1962-1965! That's all we got for reading 35 books, but it must have meant a lot to me. I am outdoors whenever possible. My garden is now a magical oasis where I can read, knit, meditate, garden, sleep, hang out... It saves me some days. Our 2 kids are grown and slowly leaving the nest. Bittersweet milestones come and fade as the next one approaches. I suppose ours are flying by too, as we each approach 30 years on the job. I look forward to all that life has to offer. |
