| Introduction | I am a sparkly new graduate degree student from the University for the Creative Arts at Farnham, where I studied Three Dimensional Design, specialising in Jewellery & Metalwork from 2007 to 2010. To date, my jewellery has developed into a vibrant mix of metals including anodised aluminium and of course silver. Much of my work is based around my own passions and curiosity. I love to discover and learn more about things that I will never experience such as my latest collection “I wish I was born in the 60’s”, an era I have loved and wished I could have seen first hand! The collection will not stop there, I will be digging through my wishes to create new and exciting collections within “I wish I was…” exploring more time periods, in particular medieval and other themes such as swashbuckling pirates. I love exploring different eras in fashion and interiors to find inspiration for new and exciting jewellery while also delving into stories and legends. My work involves a more graphic approach to which prints and shape provide the perfect framework to create energetic 3D pieces from flat 2D inspiration. I enjoy piecing together compositions and positioning colours within a piece. |
