| Introduction | this is the blog for my studio project. the idea behind this is to offer free recordings to bands and musicians who want to record a few songs and want to do it their way. the "a different diy" is a non-profit project with the ambition to help struggeling musicians and bands to record their music, and maybe learn a bit about the process meanwhile. why? first of all i really like the diy mentality, and even though this of course contradicts the diy concept, the ideology is the same. and this gives me as a former student of audio engineering a chance to learn and practice, and gives the bands a chance to record a free demo and a chance learn how to record, so it's pretty much a win-win situation. interested? contact me at squarerootone@gmail.com |
