|Introduction||French born, naturalized American, I’ve been working in contact with wine and spirits since 1991. Bordeaux native, grandson of a Cotes de Bourg winemaker, I rapidly understood how important the world of wine will be part of my life and trigger my career. In 1997, after 5 years working in restaurants, as Maitre D, assistant Sommelier, I went back to school to become a certified Sommelier fully immersed into wine. Sommelier/Wine Buyer for restaurants in Bordeaux, Paris, London, etc.. I moved to New York in 2002, working as Wine Buyer/Store Manager for fine boutique retail stores. In 2011, I relocated to Hong Kong, where I've been working since as Head Sommelier/Wine Buyer/Restaurant manager, but also Brand Ambassador and purchasing manager for two online boutique stores. I taste and buy all sort of wines (spirits too) from all around the world. As often as I can, I will update my blog with new tasting notes, remarks about my favorite wines and discoveries. Tasting is very subjective; every palate is different. My descriptions will be frank, explicit, detailed with loads of info. Purely and solely personal, my notes, comments, opinions are results of my taste buds excitement.|
|Interests||Anything & everything about Wine, Food, Travel, Culture, Book, Photography, People and life in general|
|Favorite Movies||Anything that can make me dream, laugh, think and transport me in other worlds...like Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Lord of the Ring, Harry Potter, Blues Brothers, Pulp Fiction, Inception and quite a few more big blockbusters, but also a lot of other small independent films...|
|Favorite Music||Electronic, House, Chill-Out, Alternative, Rock, Jazz, Reggae, Latin, Salsa, Bossa Nova, Classical, Hard Rock, Metal... in fact pretty much everything, but more especially clean and musically harmonious songs with expressive voices, well written lyrics, with great drums and guitar...I like when the song has a message to give and corresponds to something... I'm rather Up beat when it comes to music. Sadness and melancholy bore me to the core, and although some of the greatest songs ever are sad, I still like more joyful and hopeful vibes.|
|Favorite Books||too many....in too many styles..|
