Introduction I am a North American (Canadian) of British (Scottish) descent, and married to a beautiful Brazilian (Tania) with whom I have 2 lovely daughters (Kelly, 20, and Stephanie, 14). Besides running my adventure tour company, Swallows and Amazons (since 1992), in the Brazilian Amazon I am a writer of short fiction and articles about history, exploration, biology and adventure travel.
