| Introduction | I am a Scottish-born writer who made The Bahamas my home decades ago. I was brought up in England and have also lived in Australia and Canada. I've been writing since the age of nine and am a trained journalist. I also sing with my Bahamian husband Erskine Knowles, who plays guitar. We are on tiktok at tiktok.com/@youngheartsforever. My short stories have been published in “The Lady” and “The Broadkill Review”; poetry in “Evergreen” magazine; and feature stories and articles in The Bahamas and U.K. I have Diplomas in Novel Writing from Writer’s Digest School and in Short Story Writing from International Correspondence School.
