| Introduction | Gladys Hodge Sherrer, is Author of TRAPPED IN THE CROSSFIRE: A CIVIL WAR SAGA OF THE ENDURANCE OF FAMILY. Also, she is Author of The Keeper Chronicles, Infinity Publishing 2012, and The Mall Street Sleuth (Volume One) published 2011. Sherrer published a first newspaper article at age thirteen; was educated at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, spending many years in career gleaning characters and plots. She’s a published journalist and columnist, an award winning writer, including First Chapter Novel Award from the Alabama Writers Conclave for her first novel. Today her greatest literary pleasure comes from writing fiction and creative nonfiction, chronicling life in the South in the style of Author Eugenia Price. Her nonfiction published essays include interviews of playwrights Michael Vigilant and Elyzabeth Gregory Wilder, Pulitzer Prize Poet Natasha Trethewey and the former kidnapped missionary Gracia Burnham.
