Introduction Hello and thank you so much for visiting our blog for all things Jam. In 1972 I began to dabble in canning or call it preserving. My Granma Lois was an excellent preserver of food and at the age of 14 she started to give me the basics. Grama Lois had a root cellar that was filled year around and could easily feed the United States Marine Corp. Yes, times have changed but the general rules still apply. I had no idea that it would bring us to this point in our lives when all things became how we might preserve food. We have turned this into jam-tastic adventure and now a small local business! Canarella Jams, Preserves and Butters are small batch and hand crafted. Our products are made with only the best quality fresh fruits from local farms, orchards without any artificial additives or preservatives. Our recipes use half the sugar of traditional recipes and a natural pectin to assure quality. Canarella Jams come in many wonderful old school flavors and never go beyond two flavors per jam. Our old school flavor is simple and using only two berries or fruit combinations keeping your pallet from getting confused.
