About me

Gender MALE
Introduction Interested in wildlife and conservation, with a love for places that are wild, remote and home to amazing wildlife I always have my camera with me.

I'm just about to start working for the British Antarctic Survey again, as a Zoological Field Assistant (penguins and petrels) on Bird Island, South Georgia, where I will be for about 18 months.

UK summer 2014 I spent my time monitoring seabirds on Skomer Island. I spent the winter 2013/14 working as part of the Isles of Scilly Seabird Recovery Project ridding the island of St Agnes of rats which eat the eggs and chicks of nesting birds.

Earlier in my blog history you'll also notice that I've worked for the Government of South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands on a habitat restoration project, over two years as the Zoological Field Assistant at King Edward Point in South Georgia, and as a volunteer for Falkland Conservation.
