| Introduction | My name is Kaeli Ferguson, I've been married for over 20 years to a wonderful guy. I have a penchant for writing emails, social media posts and the like so I was encouraged by several people to blog. Now a little bit more about me... I teach music and lead a creative music ensemble at Maharishi University of Management (MUM) in Fairfield, IA, USA. I am a Cherokee-Scot American and enjoy studying the American Indian culture of my grandparents. As the advisor to the American Indian Culture Club at the University, I spend time promoting the preservation of Native languages and cultures. I'm half of a dynamic composing team called Time Extension. My "other" half on this team is concert pianist and composer extraordinaire, Paul Jones. Together we make music that conveys our innermost feelings and reflections of our existence. Writing poetry and lyrics is a joy but at the moment, composing instrumental pieces for film takes up most of my "free" time. So when I'm not teaching or composing I will be checking in to share some of my thoughts with you here. I hope you will stay to share part of my life with me. Thanks for stopping by! :O) |
