| Introduction | I remember looking forward to being in my 30’s. I had this image of being more settled in who I was and what I liked. I'm officially mid-30's. I can say I feel settled in a roll up my sleeves and get working sort of way. I definitely know what I like and what I really can't stand. The cottage is now a spacious two bedroom house in a lovely town in the San Francisco Bay Area. I share this space with the man of the house. He’s 37 (he had to confirm this via Google just like he did last year). A big heart and a boy’s sense of adventure, he will gladly chase the squirrel that stares him down in a game of chicken. I surround myself with the things I love. I have a style that is less shabby and more New England cottage without the pretentious spirit. I collect old recipe boxes WITH the recipe cards still in them and old ball jars with the glass tops. I read cookbooks as if they were novels and have learned not to kill our houseplants. We are currently working on making a baby - our first. Thanks for wanting to know more about me. I hope that this blog gives you some insight as to the things that bring me joy. |
