| Introduction | I am a doctor in both NHS and private practice. I am passionately interested in health policy, but I have a fundamentally skeptical nature, and as strong belief that received wisdom must be challenged. Whilst I believe strongly in the scientific method, I am more than aware of its limitations also. "Assume nothing, trust no-one" might sum it up, but I am a bit more positive than that. I think the best of people, however naive that seems. This said I have a lousy temper, I can be arrogant and have a tendency to be preachy despite my established atheism. I find the world fascinating but bloody confusing, and not a little scary. These are my views and do not reflect the views of any organisation I work for or may be affiliated with. |
