About me

Gender Male
Location Tzokeika, Agios Nikolaos, Messinia, Greece
Introduction In 2009, after living in Arnold near Nottingham, England for over 28 years, my wife, Sue, and I moved to Greece to start a new life. I ended a long career in social services to do this, but still maintain an interest in all aspects of the work I did. I have over 30 years experience working in the social care sector from being a direct service worker through to management and then subsequently to developing a career as a trainer. My main focus was working with people who have learning difficulties. However, originally I was educated as an artist and designer and in recent years I used this to develop skills as a graphic facilitator and training courses in graphic facilitation and recording. This developed out of my involvement in person-centred planning for people with learning difficulties where graphic facilitation can play an important role. Today, I'm developing a portfolio of new drawings and paintings inspired by the incredible scenery here and I've also been creating artistic chalkboard and painted signs for local businesses. However, I'm still very interested in providing graphic facilitation support or training.
