| Introduction | Bula Vinaka, I am Epeli Lalagavesi but commonly known as Abel. I am a young Pacific Writer hoping to share stories of the Pacific as a Pacific Islander. On my free time, I volunteer at University of the South Pacific Disability Resource Center as a student buddy. I also sail on a traditional canoe called the Uto Ni Yalo, promoting sustainable sea transport. I began volunteering when I was 16 years old and have been volunteering for 6 years now.
