| Introduction | Like alot of people in my age group I have had to adapt to the world full of technology. During this learning process I developed a real love for computers and the world that it can open up to everyone. When I was given the opportunity to take up the position as co-ordinator for the Computers in Homes project in the Far North I jumped at it. To me it wasn't like working but an extension of what I enjoy. As the programme took shape up in the Far North I took great delight in seeing other people enjoying technology and learning how to bring the wider world to them. However over time my family grew and moved through New Zealand and when Dunedin became a new area for CiH I once again jumped at the new challenge it presented. We have packed up our home (and cat) and moved the length of the country. To date it has proved a good decision. I am loving the new people I have met and the new schools and families who have enrolled in the course. At the moment life is great and by the looks of things can only get better. |
