| Introduction | I dont REALLY consider myself either a republican or democrat, but if I have to lean one way it is to the left. On the whole, I dont believe the government has MY OR OTHER TEXANS/AMERICANS best interests in mind. It is more about the money and trying to tie things up to keep anything from happening unless it's in the best interests of politicians pocketbooks. I have voted off and on ( a lot more of late since I became older and a little more convicted in my beliefs). I am taking this class mainly because I just need to keep going to school for something(till I get in my chosen program-Radiology) to keep from having to start paying back loans. I might end up with secondary Anthropology degree which is why I chose this course. I hope to get a little more understanding of the way things work and a little better knowledge of TX politics in general. |
