| Introduction | JPD Artworks - Douglasville, GA I've been painting since 2010. My favorite mediums are pastel, watercolor and acrylic. . I also draw in charcoal, graphite and colored pencil. My teachers have included Karen Margulis, Barbara Jaenicke, Nancy Nowak, Ann Cockerill, Margaret Dyer, Jack Shields, Catherine Hills, Dr. Majid Ejlali, Marsha Savage and Pat Fiorello. Special treats have been opportunities to participate in workshops by Albert Handel and Richard McKinley. I am a member of the Southeastern Pastel Society, Georgia Watercolor Society, South Cobb Art Alliance, Paulding Fine Arts Alliance, Booth Museum Art Guild and Douglas County Art Guild. I've shown my work at the Quinlan Visual Arts Center, Gainesville, GA; Red Cockerill Gallery, Austell, GA; the Douglasville Cultural Arts Center, South Cobb Art Alliance, Mableton, GA and Dog River Library. In April 2013, I was one of two artist featured in a gallery exhibit. Recent paintings have been juried into the Southeastern Pastel Society Member Exhibit 2015, the 2015 South Cobb Art Alliance World of Art and the 2015 NOVAS Exhibit at Douglasville Cultural Arts Center. |
