About me

Introduction Michael Wescott was born a Philadelphia yankee but was transplanted to Columbia when he was still in shortpants. He went to USC for English Literature and graduate school in history at Brooklyn College, City University of New York. He is the author of the definitive history of the nickel (true story) and spends an inordinate amount of time working on an exhaustive, and thus unfinishable, annotated bibliography of The Beatles. He also writes and records music under the names Amphibian Skin and Mackerel Biscuit, and feels only somewhat ridiculous writing about himself in the third person. He has never been stung by a bee, knows cats are smarter than dogs, and thinks SETI is just asking for trouble. So put your best boots on, for he has returned to Columbia to resume his meteoric career as an unapologetic ne'er-do-well.
