Favorite music	Schubert's String Quintet in C, Beethovens Late Quartets, Miles Davis, Fats Waller, Muddy Waters, Otis Redding, Aretha Franklin, Wilson Pickett, Bartók, a lot of sixties pop, not to forget Irish bands...
Favorite books	Far too many but, say, Eliot, Auden, Stevens, Bishop, Clare, Rochester, Marvell, Donne, Ransom among poets. A lot of Hungarian writers, but, non-Hungarian, most lately W G Sebald and David Grossman.
