| Introduction | My name is Kaity. I live at home with 5 of my 8 siblings. I love being a daughter in my father's house and although I'd love to be married someday, I will always treasure these times. My name means "pure." I cannot think of a day where the meaning of my name didn't humble me and make me wish I had a more fitting meaning. I know that I could never be "pure" in my own merit! Funny enough, my middle name explains it all: Janine means God's grace." It's only be God's grace that I can be pure in His sight. It's only through His son's blood and redemption that I receive salvation and citizenship! I am a reformed Christian and I guess I could say "proud of it," but I won't since pride is the last thing I feel when I realize what a wretch I am. If reformed theology does one thing it makes me realize "what a worm am I." AND yet, there's no beauty in salvation if there's no "ultimate Saviour." Yes, there's agony in my sin, but incredible joy in love that loves in spite of my hatred and sin!!! |
