Introduction Most parents today know very little about baseball. Unlike previous generations, they don't have a lot to pass on to their children, and most kids today know more about Angry Birds than they do about America's National Pastime. It’s a different world, and today’s kids have lost touch with the game. Kids don’t play outside much, and the sandlot’s turned into a parking lot. Baseball’s getting lost. The Hometown All Stars Book series, written for children ages 3-6, is on a mission to spread the idea of “Less Screen, More Green” and increase the interest in baseball with today’s younger generations, while building character, teamwork skills and re-enforcing many of life’s important lessons – including the most important one – TO HAVE FUN!
Interests My interests are wide and varied. I think what interests me most is trying new things. From travel to food to culture to…really anything. I am very curious person, I always try to look deeper, not only in spirit, but also in logic and actual mechanics. I love taking things apart, frequently unable to return them to the original condition. I love to cook. I love to travel, even though I have not done much, I am a dreamer. I love the moment! Being in the moment! I love being right where I am, and loving it for everything that it is. I have a fond appreciation for capturing the moment and not letting it escape.
Favorite Movies Much like my interests, I have a wide variety of movie tastes. I think ultimately no matter what the genre, I like the mystery, adventure and mental challenge to follow and deduct the situation at hand. I love the challenge. I never guess the right one! LOL. I’d like to think this doesn’t date myself. I liked Citizen Cane and rosebud, when we had to watch it in school. I liked Charlie Chaplin movies when they part of our required instruction in class. I grew up as a kid watching Burt Reynolds, Bill Murray, Clint Eastwood, Lee Marvin, Sylvester Stalone and Tom Cruise. Smokey and the Bandit(s), Rocky(s), Rambo(s) and Risky Business. Always loved James Bond, Goodfellas, History of the World Part I and II., I love good dark Dracula seductive bite your neck movies and all the obvious sporty usual’s ….like the longest yard, Major League, Field of Dreams, Bull Durham, The Sandlot, Little Big League, 42, Badnews bears… and of course…Oh, God!
Favorite Music I have a strange mix of musical likes. I tend to like what every my travel companion likes. And all true, I like it! However, the things that really shake my inner soul…..Sade, James Taylor, Bad Co. and Steely Dan. Other favorites-Squeeze, Foreigner, Genesis, Cars, Lenny Kravitz, and so many current names on the radio- Katy, Nicki, Demi, Iggy, Selena, Faith, Carrie and Kelly. I love talented people in all genres. I am a totally music lyric junkie. I relate so much to so many of the lyrics in the songs. I am so musically un-inclined, that I have mad envy of people who can. My newest- Brandyn Burnette.
Favorite Books I tend to read in educational directions. If I can learn something…I find interest. Jim Kramer’s- Mad Money totally sucks me in. Ironic, it is hard to find time to read. Even when I read articles about how the top business people, busier than all of us, find time to read 100 books a year. It motivates me, and is even moving me towards audio books for drive times. Most days if I sit still long enough to relax, I fall asleep. I am a technically oriented brain. I am used to reading my engineering text books and advanced math classes, atomic physics. Why did I do that? But I read slowly to equate everything together. I have to know how all the characters relate to appreciate the stories. Between slow reading and falling asleep quick….reading is a long journey for me. Recently I have read hundreds of children’s books, mostly for education and research. I am going to start posting on amazon with my favorites. Unlike most politicians and everyone that pays for reviews or writes their own under other fake accounts…this internet world is tough to believe sometimes. How many times have you read good reviews on a restaurant, a hotel, or even a book and found them to be ridiculous? I agree- far too many times. People told me that I cant write a bad review, it will review negatively on me. I don’t believe it. I believe that if I write the truth, good or bad, others will do the same. It doesn’t have to be malicious, but it can be… honest! We all have different tastes. If you find my reviews to be similar to your tastes, then we will build that long term trust. I am looking forward to opening and sharing your tastes too, or sending things my way that I might not otherwise stumble across in my travels. Please…email me things you think I might like. kevin@thewoodstockallstars.com ….all that and here Is one great kids book, great story! Jon Bullers, 20, 000 Baseball Cards Under the Sea. It is all that and more. it’s 10 stars on a 5 star scale!

How tall would you be if you had never cut your fingernails?

As far as i can figure, and with some experience living in Woodstock,NY where people have not cut their hair since the summer of 69. I think fingernails curl as they grow. It would not affect my height, therefore, I would say....a solid 6 feet tall is my answer.
