| Introduction | As my pen name implies, I am originally from Texas. I came to Nevada in 1993 working as an archaeologist for the U.S. Forest Service and decided to put down roots here. In the way of education I have an A.A. (Math and chemistry), B.A. (Archaeology and art history), B.F.A. (Studio art and art history, and an M.A. (Archaeology and geology). I've been married for 37 years to a wonderful, hard-working woman. We have two children and two grandchildren. I NO longer remain a registered Democrat as I have been for 40+ years as I see nothing in the Nevada Democratic Party which even remotely resembles my philosophy that government should do the most good for the most people. I am a fiscal conservative in believing that government spending is wasteful and bloated. |
