| Introduction | Greetings, I am a artist living in Salisbury, NC. What you will find in this blog are concepts, techniques and general inspirations of my paintings. My educations in art began in the mid 1980's with the following: North Carolina School of the Arts, Chicago Art Institute, Penland School of Craft, Oakland School for the Arts. In the 1990's, I began working in Hollywood, California as a computer Special Effects Artist on major Motion Pictures, Music Videos, TV Commercials and location basis Ride Films. After several years of learning the craft, I rose to the title of Animation Supervisor and received film credits on Titanic and Waterworld. Longing for a slower pace of life, I moved back to my home town in 2001. Here I am rediscovering my fisrt love - oil painting. Most days, I can be found mixing paints and listing to my eclectic range of music. |
