Favorite movies	Life Is Beautiful, Like Water for Chocolate, The Philadelphia Story, Good Will Hunting & Paris Je T'Aime are all on the short list. The Notebook too, just in case I was trying to hard to be intimidatingly intellectual. Don't be fooled.
Favorite music	Jose Gonzalez, Allie Moss, Fleet Foxes, Dolly Parton, Blitzen Trapper, the Weepies, Jens Lekman, Ashtar Command, The National, Dan Wilson, Sufjan Stevens, Alaskan Summer, Brandi Carlile, Bon Iver, Zero 7, Laura Jansen, Young Galaxy, Rilo Kiley, Priscilla Ahn, W Thomas Dybdahl, Phoenix, Postal Service
Favorite books	I usually have two or three going at once . One is nonfiction (The New Kings of Nonfiction), one is oh-so-fictional-there-are-DRAGONS (Storm of Swords), one is short stories (My Mistress's Sparrow is Dead) and one is straight up fiction (The Time Traveler's Wife). Also a Harry Potter person and feel the need to identify as such. And oh the cookbooks...although I'm a bit of a snot about beautiful food photography. Small women's clubs cookbooks that are self-published with the black binder rings are excluded from the snob rule. Gems, every one of them.
