| Introduction | My favorite quote is "Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to slide in broadside, thoroughly used up, worn out, and loudly proclaiming wow what a ride!" Kind of sums it up for me. I was born many years ago on the bank of the Missouri. Well ok in a hospital in a town on the bank of the Missouri. I started fly fishing at the age of 12 or 13. Actually I started tying flies first then started fly fishing. I started fishing with my father at an age so young that my dad would heat up my baby formula on a Coleman stove in a wall tent on the shore of a small prairie lake. Dad wasn't a fly fisherman so I can't brag about starting "fly fishing" that young. I love a great adventure and if it involves fly fishing all the better. Fly fishing is a way of life for me not just a hobby. |
