Introduction	I'm a Jersey Shore girl who moved to Philadelphia in the 90's after college and enjoyed exploring and living in many exciting neighborhoods in the city for about 20 years while making my living in the restaurant biz. In September 2011 I returned home to the beach and pinelands with my husband and our 2005 street-rescue dog, Esmerelda. The goal was be close to family, to have a place where we could dip our toes daily into the water, be it ocean, river, creek or pool. Sadly, I lost my husband to cancer rather suddenly in May 2013, and I now share life with Ezzie and my newest rescue, Sam, who was saved from a high-kill shelter in NC and who I adopted in July 2013. Life is full with family and friends, and especially my canine companions! I dig: sunshine, cooking, friends, fam, wine, craft beer, reading, writing, making wholesome homemade dog food, home design on a budget, critters (even sharks and spiders), and charities/bizs that care 'bout critters.
