| Introduction | I am a wife, mama, sister, friend, and daughter, although sometimes I lose track of who I was (and still am) before all those other names. Simply To Be is my space to explore and reconnect with who I am and who I'm becoming, a love letter I'm writing to myself. My hope is that you'll recognize a bit of yourself in my words and pictures. Perhaps you'll feel a little less alone, a little more understood. I write, copying down my life on unlined pages in soft-covered Moleskines. I read, voraciously and primarily from the YA section of the library. I knit, sticking to projects requiring only one skein. I quote Anne Lamott, a lot.
