Why should all the rich gals and guys have all the fun? I mean, I’ve earned the right to spoil myself once in a while, right? So, after months of squirreling my pennies (and with the help of an occasional gift certificate), I’d manage to work a spa treatment or two into a vacation trip or birthday celebration. After each sporadic spa indulgence, two things began to happen: 1. Without fail, I’d ALWAYS say to myself, I’ve got to do this more regularly for my mental and physical health. 2. Inevitably, friends, family, colleagues and acquaintances would ask me about the experience and share their own adventures in the land of tranquil escapes.
