| Introduction | I will graduate May 7, 2011 from South Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Science in Advertising. I have received several academic honors in college that directly reflect my 3.75 GPA. My experiences as a collegiate softball player have developed a wide range of skills that will transfer nicely into a career setting. As a student-athlete, I learned quickly to organize and prioritize in order to manage time effectively and efficiently. My multi-tasking skills will be extremely useful in future careers, as I plan on embarking on positions that will require me to manage multiple projects at any given time. During my two summers as a marketing intern with Historic Arnolds Park, Inc., I performed writing and design skills daily including posters, brochures, newsletters, and facility signage. In addition, I executed two annual fundraisers that grossed over $100,000 in both 2009 and 2010. I am an extremely hard worker and firmly believe that good things happen to those who are willing to work hard every day. |
