Introduction | Well, my name is Mildred Annabel McManus and I was born on the 1st April 1980-something. I've been down the uni pathway, met a handsome man and fallen in love. His name is Dave. I've written a book called 'An Ordinary Girl in an Extraordinary World', written a play, written music... written a postcard, a shopping list- I could go on. I'm a day dreamer that's not yet ready to retire from the world of education. I'm also very clumsy. Welcome to my world: hope it brings a smile. |
Interests | My interests include: talking, rearranging the furniture in my bedroom on a regular basis, walking, watching old re-runs of Friends and Sex and the City, telling stories, searching for jobs (not- stricty speaking an interest- more of a necessity), reading out-of-date magazines, laughing at my own silliness, listening to music, watching films, pretending to be a superstar and practising my acceptance speech (sshhhh- this one's a secret!)... |
Favorite movies | Hhmmmm. Let's see? In no particular order, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Sex and the City The Movie (1st one), Up (Disney), Beauty and the Beast (Disney), Marley and Me, He's Just Not That In To You, Transformers 1 and 2. |
Favorite music | Wowza- tricky one! Totally varied... Would include:, Bruno Mars, Take That, Camille Saint Saens (classical), Vaughn Williams (classical), Queen, Frank Sinatra, The Beatles, Christina Aguilera, Sex and the City 1 Soundtrack, Pirates of the Caribbean 2 Soundtrack, Mika, Adele, Francesca Cox. |
Favorite books | Well that's an easy one. Without a shadow of doubt: the HP series., Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows., Also Dear Fatty by Dawn French. Lastly my favourite non-fiction book is, Dictionary and Thesaurus. |
